You know, I was thinking, counselling could be just as well a very refined form of prostitution. Emotional prostitution, that is.
You pay a complete stranger to make you feel good, you tell them things you don't discuss with your friends and family; you pay them to validate your feelings and to give you the impression that you are the most important being in the whole world... Until next week.
